Today is the 1st of September.
You probably already knew that, right?
Well, while it may not mean a great deal to you, in the Southern Hemisphere, that means something very exciting……………………….
SPRING DAY!!!!
The first day of Spring, the birds are singing in the trees, the flowers are blooming on the trees.
Lovely!
Also, on a slightly different note. This is my 200th post. Not a big deal I suppose, but it is about 199 more than I ever expected to do.
The first day of Spring! Strange to think of. I wish it was the first day of spring here. I love spring!!! But I love fall too - and it's almost fall.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 200th post! I'm glad you blog. You're a fun blogger.

And it is in fact a glorious Spring Day today. I am headed off to have coffee with some friends just now, and I am starting to wish we had chosed an outdoor coffee shop. :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely!
Thank you for letting us know, Sharkie.
ReplyDeleteI also wish Spring was here.... fall is looming, which means winter is just around the corner (I know, I know, I shouldn't complain about the snow!).
ReplyDeleteWoo hooo!! Sounds like this is a big day for you! 200th post AND Spring is here. I always get thrown by that - the reverse season thing, depending on the hemisphere.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Jet Lag does with something like that. whew
So when I'm complaining about the snow you're swimming in the warm waters of the southern hemisphere. Totally jealous.
