Celebration time!

So I see that according to my post log, this is my 100th post.

Woo Hoo and all that.

It is also my first post since finishing my latest novel. (I love that phrase.)
That's right, November National Novel Writing Month is over, and I am emerging victorious with my 50,000 word draft in hand. (A rather cramped hand I might add; did I mention I was writing the whole thing longhand?)

I am sorry I didn't get to pop in here as often as I would have liked, but the writing has been more intense than I imagined. I hope to try and catch up with all of you over the next few days, and see what has been going on behind my back.

  2. Yippee! You're done. I would have shipped a crate of champagne down to you as an extravagant gesture of congratulatory praise... but... you're a fish. It'd have been a waste :).

Well done. Where can I Read it?

  3. Ship away Mark. I drink like a fish. :-)

The novel actually needs quite a bit to be added in the editing process, but I am putting it away for a month to recover, and then will start editing hopefully in January.

Who know, this year I might actually show it to someone.

Or it might sleep with the fishes. We'll see.

  4. My favorite fish is back! Yea!

I love writing longhand, but rarely take the time. I'm quite impressed with you, with assurance that the quality makes up for the cramped hand.

(Be careful now, don't they say you shouldn't swim when cramping is a problem?)
