Change of pace

I looked at my blog today, and noticed that I haven't posted anything since Ash Wednesday. Now you might be forgiven for thinking that I have given up blogging for lent. The truth, however, is that I just haven't had anything profound to say.

You would think that two weeks of fasting, self-denial and drawing closer to Christ would give me many new insights, but apparently nothing worth blogging about.

So here's a picture of Jesus riding a dinosaur.

  1. Amen. I was thinking of Proverbs 17:28. It says, "Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent."

Um, Jesus riding a dinosaur? I did a bit of digging and people get really hot under the collor about this one.

  2. Uh, Sharkie, for clarity, I was calling you wise.

  3. Uh. Yeah. Okay, I wasn't sure about that one at first. :-)

I got some interesting e-mails a while back about the whole "Jurassic Ark" thing. (Okay, I think I made that name up.) It seems to be quite a hot topic in certain groups.

This way I can offend both sides with a single cartoon. Cool isn't it?

  4. Hi Sharkie (are we on a nick name basis yet? I'm not to sure if I should be calling you Mr Bait or Shark or what?),

I wrote a review on your blog at

Did you say that Noah took eggs for the boat trip or a couple of big Tyrannosaurus Rex’s and a Brontosaurus’?

    In Christ,

  5. My father was Mr Bait. (And the guy down the road who sells buckets of prawns, but that's a whole other story.)

I respond to Shark, Shark Bait, and SB. Sharkie is fine as well, but it brings back memories of playing Marco Polo as a child.

  6. Now I've found a blog I can relate to the humor...Jesus on a dino...that's gold.

    Have a great weekend.

Say Hoo Ha Ha!
